    The Fire Service Credit Union is a member-based non-profit organization. When you join, you become a member-owner and can participate in electing the Board of Directors. All members have an equal vote, no matter your shareholding or the number of services you use. Surpluses are returned to members in the form of attractive dividends.

    Lifetime Benefit

    The Fire Service Credit Union membership is a lifetime benefit. Once you become a member, you can remain a member even if you change jobs or move to another area of the country. Your immediate family members are also eligible for credit union membership. Encourage them to join the credit union soon so they can enjoy the same benefits that you do.

    Higher Yields

    Our Credit Union pays higher yields on savings with the Credit Union and one of the highest dividends on shares in the local movement.

    No Service Fee

    At our Credit Union there are no service fees. The commercial bank would charge for similar services.

    No Loan Processing Fee

    Our Credit Unions’ loan rates are competitive and currently there are no loan processing fees. Consider refinancing your loans and outstanding credit card balances at the credit union to save you money.
